Lens was a really interesting place to see in euro 2016.
Like Victoria park in Dingwall hosting if Scotland were.
Tamworth - Spurs should be good fun. Spurs are playing a strong team, but as always with them you never know if they're going to win 6-0 or lose 2-0 in these games.
Spurs going to Tamworth today and facing Tom Tonks. Watched him turning out for our local side here and while he doesn't move all too well about the pitch he was the set piece specialist, with a knock off Delap throw in.
They're going to get just the way we played though.
Tommy Tonks is a very magic of the cup name.
I'm smelling 0-6.
They've done well to get it on, pitch must be like concrete, or is it artifical?
It's artificial, 3G.
The ground is peak FA Cup.
An IT software manager and a Zara shop assistant fixing the net.
MAGIC OF THE CUP.
Nice to see that Werner is shit even at non-league level, as he loses the ball 3 times in 10 minutes.
Now that would have been the magic of the cup.
You can't score directly from a throw-in was always one of the first weird football rules you'd learn as a kid.
I have a very strong childhood memory of Teddy Sheringham scoring direct from a throw in at a pre-season friendly against Southend. My brain has presumably made this up.
I think I remember Delap chucking a couple directly in for Stoke. None counted sadly.
The famous one is Enkelman's own goal.
This kid is running Porro pretty ragged.
Southend beat these mugs 2-0 3 months ago.
Just checked with my uncle, who thinks I'm mental for remembering this for all these years, but it did happen. The goalkeeper fumbled it, so it counted. It probably went down as an own goal.
In that case, yeah, own goal.
"Do you remember when Sheringham scored a throw in against us? I need to shut up some dickheads on the internet"
I asked for my own sanity.
Got to love the size/shape of non-league players. That Creaney is a right unit.
Someone spare us extra time please
Tottenham trying their best to lose.
To highlight how bad this Tamworth team is, Chris Wreh, who they have just brought on, was playing in the same league as Taz 2 years ago.
Pedro Porro fighting for his life.
Didn't know these finished on the day now, that's a bit of a jip. When did they bin replays?
That's such bullshit.
They tried to placate the lower league teams by coming up with a new competition where they'd play the U21 teams of the bigger clubs.
This managed to only piss them off further and most of them have refused to take part.
The magic of the cup.
Is that the actual Chris Wreh or is it his son?
Ah yeah Ali Dia's cousin
United and Arsenal should both be thrown out of the cup for their kit choices. Well, maybe just Arsenal, even if this is one of those knife crime things.
I can understand us wearing the blue because red and white kits are probably too close to their home kit. As nice as it is not sure why they are in all white.
There's a certain irony in this anti-knife crime message kit results in us getting murdered every time we play in it. Lost every time we've worn it.
We love the low ball into the middle. However, I have never seen us actually make the run across to get on the end of it.
I still don't understand that 'played at the ball therefore no offside' rule. 99 times out of 100, to borrow from Arne Slot's phrasebook, the alleged playing at the ball only derives from the presence of the offside player in the first place, so it should be offside.
Both these teams are desperate for a number 9.
Nigh on 5 minute break there for ostensibly no reason.
lol at Fernandes getting booked for being obviously taken out.
Lol at Jesus injuring himself in the process. Hope it's serious.
