If you don't want it portable, you are getting to the point of playing almost anything you want now.
Speaking of portable. Retroid have had the best flagship of the portable market for a few years in the Pocket 2+/3+/4+. They've announced the 5/Mini is coming soon.
The big positive here is it doesnt have the annoying trend of a lesser chip/RAM in the smaller one. The only difference between the two is size. Looks like a bump in build quality too based on the renders. Hopefully once it's in hands it is as good as it looks.
The GamePass stuff on the Fire Stick is proper in the future stuff! My wife is sat playing House Flipper on a firestick! It’s like having a second Xbox that cost us £40 and that we already owned anyway.
BLOPS6 is so much fun lolz.
Space Marine 2 looks pretty great:
I yarred it to play the intro and it was a blast, proper old school mental third person shooter. Deleted it as will buy it when its on sale at some point.
UFO 50 is out now. I feel like it's been talked about for 15 years. I thought it was going to be more faithful to the multicart trash but it seems to have really made good 8-bit era games.

"Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii"
The remake of the first Broken Sword is out and I can’t wait to replay it.
If any of you jerks want a free copy of Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II, hit me up on Steam.
It'll either be teh_drewski or eltharion_doa, I can't remember whether the Steam friend list thingy goes by the original signin or current username.
Ronaldo in Fatal Fury is not something I expected to see.
I’ve resubbed to World Of Warcraft. Will be playing Classic Hardcore. Currently got a macro running to find an available two letter name and then hopefully it’s showtime when the kids are in bed. I’ve a level 25 mage and Druid leftover from last time but I don’t wanna carry those one cos I’m rusty and will likely die instantly, so gonna roll a fresh Hunter and see how it goes having a pet for protection.
Good news is my bank char has 80 gold to buy some bags and send a few starting gold for supplies and professions.
I'm a twit
Been playing the new DayZ map Sakhal. It's fucking brutal Just constantly freezing and getting mauled by wolves/zombies.
@Yevrah - you'd like this, I reckon
Playing GTAV again.
Fuck me this is still incredibly impressive. Yes there's a little bit of jank (interacting primarily) but the world is still fucking phenomenal. Many games since have had larger worlds, more beautiful worlds, but bar RDR2, I don't think anything has felt this alive. I know there are dislikers of the script but I still think its wonderfully seedy and horrid and hilarious. Not played it since launch way back on the 360, but its an absolute fucking blast still. I've forgotten basically all the plot and missions so it feels fresh and new. Got me double pumped for GTAVI now. Sometimes ya forget just how brilliant they can be.
Anyone wanting Black Ops 6 for Playstation can get it for £40 if they have the ASDA rewards app. Annoyingly though they've made it in store only and only til end of day tomorrow.
Every store around me has no stock left.
I’ve not played one for years, since the 360 days, so have downloaded this one to give it a go.
I think my last proper one was Black Ops 2. Good aesthetic, killstreaks were rewarding and you could play most kinds of styles and be good with it. I cant remember anything overly broken with it either.
Since then the wave of jet packs/hyper movement has put me off. They seemed to really nerf the killstreaks and then really crank up that SBMM.
I just checked and Black Ops 2 was 12 years ago now. Made me a little sad. I'd probably have given this one a go if it was still in my local ASDA, but am I fuck paying £60 for it.
Always wanted to get into DayZ but I read the original console release was comically bad so I haven't considered it since
This was the same for me until Warzone. I stopped playing COD when all that started up.
Its unreal these days. I have been playing siege again lately but I hopped back into COD for a couple of games not long back and was given the biggest BOT lobby. Trying to sucker me back in.
Since Cold War I have been back on the pre orders (game sharing with someone) but after the last couple of years and Siege been holding off. It looks better than the last couple of years for sure though. Apparently, the campaign is very good, and long for once.
+1 for can't stand Warzone. All of these Battle Royale types are really not for me and it's a great shame it took over the FPS landscape for so long. It did shift slightly to your extraction based shooters but now people are boring of those.
The amount of videos I've seen on SBMM is nuts. People even purposefully tanking in order to then get put in the idiots lobby so they can get their clips/videos from it.
SBMM has ruined online multiplayer games.
I'm late to the party but Balatro is fucking class.
Got it on my phone as I was flying to Poland and I played it non-stop.

I prefer warzone to mp but again. Its down to the friend group. You really need a group of lads on the mic for all games now. Pro clubs and warzone is where the fun times are had.
Managed to CeX some old games in and get Black Ops 6 after they finally got a copy in my local.
It's very fun and the gunplay is great I feel. I'm a lowly level but the weapons all have had different feels so far. Killstreaks seem a bit meh still, but getting one is more difficult. The only criticism I really have is map design. For some reason every one is tiny and almost an unimaginative square. They've also slapped the Nuketown 24/7 button early this year to quiet the rabble on the maps.
The amount of attachments, skins, emblems, charms etc makes sure there's plenty to do. I think each gun comes with 9 or 10 possible attachments, but you can only choose 5 of them, so it seems like you can set yourself up loadouts for different game modes.
I've not played a twitch shooter in 12 years and it really shows early on. Hopefully my thumbs come back to me.
Going to be getting on it myself today. From what I have seen:
Guns and gunplay = good
Maps = shit
Camo grind = good
Overall levelling/prestige = slow as hell
I imagine it gets a couple of hours before I get bored as usual. Thank god its a gameshare.
Yeah MS owns Activision these days. Straight onto Gamepass is a big sell for Xbox users.
Levelling is indeed slow it feels like. Though between now and the 4th it's Nuketown 24/7 and double xp everything.
Anyone playing the new Dragon Age?
Not a Dragon Age guy either but the writing seems very, "We don't want to hurt these fictional characters' feelings." So there's no proper inter-team conflict like the Bioware of old.
The kicker for me is the team management is incredibly basic.
That's fair though, like. Its a different era. The originals can still be played. I hated the writing in Borderlands 3 so played it once and went back to 2 and didn't scream the latest buzzwords angrily into the void.
Seems absolute frothing at the mouth cunts (not you, obviously) just live for fucking nothing rage. Literal insanity.
Yeah, I know the feeling. It's exhausting. Unfortunately, the floodgates are open to genuinely rotten critics.
Aye, and sadly it makes them an absolute fortune. Sociopaths in lesser forms.
My guy looks a bit clean cut in it
Had another go at making my guy. Decided to make him fit more in with the world.
All of the FEAR games are going for the price of a pint on Steam. I've picked them up mainly to finish the first one. The AI is so fun to work against.
I've also decided to watch a longplay of Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. Partly because I wanted to refresh my memory on that game. I had it when it released but bounced off it after the bank heist. I struggle to think of other games where you play as an irredeemable piece of shit. Lynch is a piece of shit. What they attempt to do in that game makes them bigger pieces of shit. I need to see how far that goes but not enough to play it again. I do love how it's a relentless shootout, though. Very little downtime and it always keeps moving like it's one long disaster of a weekend.

Still loving Balatro and I'm working my way through each stake.
Currently stuck on Red deck purple stake.
The antes scale up so fast and my high card/pair strat is struggling to keep up right now.
I was using this guide:
https://www.reddit.com/r/balatro/com...lt_a_thorough/
So my played jokers look pretty different.
Been trying the flush strat since last night and I seem to get to ante 4 before it falls to shit because I just haven't managed to get a good enough joker setup. I should probably try using rerolls in the shop more.
The shop is the single most important aspect of the game, tbf. Absolutely stack planets and tarot cards too. Use them, use them lots. Make sure ante 1 through 3 is +mult and chips, by ante 4 onwards you should have at the very least one good xmult.
I basically know my build within the first ante by now, although I'm 400 hours in, all challenges completed, so you start to spot what the game is giving you.
If you're into it though try and drop the guide, there are thousands of way to win and following one or two ideals rigorously is madness. It almost ruined Binding of Isaac for me. I've won with hands from a high card 2 all the way through to royal flushes. Game is easily GOTY. I think its ante 30 or something is my highest run.

I barely ever use tarot cards, need to change that.
Absolutely loving the game, it's so addictive.
Also that tier list is shocking. Bloodstone is incredible, especially if teamed with Oops all 6s is one of the strongest combos in the game for heart flushes.
Season 1 14th November for BO6.
New maps, new guns, new perks, new everything. Looks awesome.
Yeah but according to the internet a character has pink hair so its cancelled mate
I've been playing with the women and the black characters to bait the incels.
