Don't even need a new prescription.
RIP Boydy.
Did get the leg on my glasses fixed though so they'll stop falling off my face though.
First time I've found a mask to be properly uncomfortable and inconvenient too.
What are the headaches like?
Paging Dr Migraine.
They're generally behind my eyes. Remind me a lot of the ones I used to get before getting my eyes tested and finding out I needed glasses which is why I thought I maybe needed a stronger prescription. The optician said I might just be staring at screens too long without taking regular enough breaks.
I probably need to drink more water too.
"Local women have been commenting on just how handsome The Queensland Prowler is. Dorothy, 76, had this to say "He doesn't look like a pervert but he can peek at my gusset anytime""
You see many mighty beards nowadays but not many which are actively trying to become one with the eyebrows.
Can we have that don made a mod. That's the alpha energy we all need rn, not gimps -ing RL's posts in my absence
The outbreak here in HCMC seems to have been controlled. A flight attendant brought it back from overseas and didn't follow self-isolation rules (and is now facing jail time).
4 universities have been closed for 2 weeks (one of the positives was a teacher), the wearing of masks has been reinforced, but apart from that, not too much impact day-to-day.A total of 861 direct contacts and 1,400 indirect ones were tested and not a single result returned positive for COVID-19, the center elaborated.
Those people had been exposed to patients 1,342, 1,347, 1,348, and 1,349, who were registered on November 29, November 30, and December 1, after Vietnam had spent nearly three months detecting no community transmission.| Patient 1,342 is a Vietnam Airlines flight attendant who flouted quarantine rules to allegedly transmit the virus to patient 1,347, who in turn infected the remainder.
Over 1,000 other people who had their health monitored in relation to these cases were also negative for the virus, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control said in the same report.
The city is quarantining 5,436 people either at home, centralized centers, or other accommodations
Local authorities have been beefing up their crackdown on anyone failing to wear face masks in public, with fines reaching VND1-3 million
Had a test today. Came back negative.
I’ve no symptoms, was just something to do.
I'm a twit
Did you just want something long and thin down your throat?
Just that I had an email (asking for volunteers olol) through work that a testing site for people without symptoms had opened in town and was advised to get one, so I figured why the hell not. Leaving the house to actually do something was a bonus too.
The army are manning (olol) it at the moment, so it all felt a bit surreal.
I'm a twit
Saw my sister for the first time all year and for the first time since she turned positive. Apparently her symptoms were an upset stomach and she only took the test on a hunch.
'Turned positive' makes it sound like she's been living as a cathode up until now.
That's unsettling
He's very much got the look of a man who needs to catch up on quite a lot of sleep. Which I suppose is to be expected in his position at the moment. Poor bastard.
I say this at every stage but I really, really hope this works out. I don't have much faith in this government (or any British government) doing this kind of thing to scale but my fingers are crossed on this.
Dunno if you've noticed but the country's changed a bit since we were all 12.
Your bit hasn't.
I don't know if you've noticed but there's a lot more octogenarians, NHS frontline staff and care home workers than there are 14 year olds. And you can store the BCG anywhere. And it's easier to manufacture. You'd imagine coronavirus restrictions mean an even more staggered rollout than the one we're getting, too.
Fuck that. Teach a load of unemployed bods how to stick people with needles and let's get this show on the road.
Scotland's got plenty already trained.
Oh God, I'm dying
I spent most of the first covid wave sitting on empty wards eating food donated by the public because hardly anyone was bringing their kids to hospital.
Earned myself a tidy Times Person of the Year award for that.
Time need to stop bottling their person of the year and giving it to concepts. Choose one doctor ffs.
Have they ever just put a mirror on the front page of that thing?
Just had a severe outbreak of anti-vax opinions in the office. It's absolutely fucking rampant. Why do believe want to believe this shit? They are absolutely desperate for vaccination to be a myth or dangerous. Why?
Wake up sheeple.
Christ, now we've moved onto parents screaming that children should be the first to be vaccinated, and not the last. I'm holding the fort reasonably well but may need supplies and ammunition before the end of the day.
They are normal people who don't read anything (and I mean anything) ever, and so form their opinions presumably from little snippets of TV/radio, from misguided instinct, or from the ninnies who surround them in their lives.
I think what I take for granted in life is the amount of reading I have done, not even necessarily books but just true information of all kinds on a page or a screen or whatever. That would apply to everyone on this board, too, but for a lot of people it just isn't the case, especially nowadays.
The figures I've seen suggest 30%-50% won't be taking the vaccine.
Oh great, now the cure for cancer is being held back because cancer treatments are too lucrative to give up. Please somebody get me through to the lunch break.
Do you ever get whiffs of weed in the office?
I told him that the cancer opinion was idiotic, and he responded as if I was the Earl of Pompous telling the little people to get back in their box. This must be what it's like to support Remain.
I have to put my daughter to school (over and above her general school uniform) in an extra pair of socks and a hoodie because they have the windows wide open. They don't them wear their jackets or gloves either in the class.
We've got a guy who works with us who anytime something related to any conspiracy theory comes up he'll discuss said conspiracy theory and when he's told he's being a mong he'll go "No no no I'm not saying I agree with it, right, but y'know, there are some interesting videos on it I think people should watch before they disregard altogether. Y'know, it makes you think."
Aye alright, mate.
