Arsenal just can't break the Arsene way. There's no swiftness or directness to anything they do. Guendouzi came on and would just not ping something across the box. Funnily enough it's not technically his fault. We literally can't pay a transfer fee and wages for anyone half decent because of FFP. From January to January we went from Ozil and Sanchez earning around 300k a week to Ozil earning that and 50k on top and 2 players on 200k a week.
I have to say, whatever benefit of the doubt I was inclined to give Mourinho - players not being up to it etc. - has pretty much vanished. I think certain players were still not giving it their all under him, but the transformation in the likes of Victor Lindelof and Ander Herrera suggests that it was a general thing rather than him just finding individuals difficult.
